Terms & Conditions

Warranty:

Derby Computer Repairs provides a comprehensive warranty for all repairs and products sold.

  • Hardware repairs, including soldering and circuit board repair work, come with a 90-day warranty.
  • New parts fitted carry a 12-month warranty, unless otherwise specified on your paperwork (exceptions may apply, such as LCD screens and batteries, where manufacturers may not offer a full 12-month warranty).
  • For software repairs, if you believe something may have been overlooked, please notify us within 90 days of the repair. While it's challenging to provide a warranty for software repairs (as we cannot protect against user errors, for instance), we are always understanding and ready to assist.

Making a Claim:

If you believe you have a warranty claim you must;

  • Inform us promptly, and you'll need to return the item for a free assessment to determine the fault.
  • If the item is found to be faulty within the warranty period, we will repair it again free of charge.
  • If you purchased a faulty item within the warranty period, it will be replaced free of charge.
  • If we are unable to repair or replace, a refund or alternative item will be offered.
  • Please note that if data recovery services are required, there may be a charge for the service.

All claims must be submitted by the customer to help@derbycomputerrepairs.co.uk. The submission should include the invoice/job number and a detailed description of the issue related to the claim.
